Date details +
    Room: Main Shrine Room
We will be hosting our annual Fall Arts Salon this year on Saturday, October 28th. The event will begin with a pot luck spread of hors d'oeuvres followed by performances of various artists within the community. The evening is free and open to the public. We will be putting out our generosity bowl for those who wish to make donations which will go to our scholarship fund.

We would like to welcome anyone interested in performing to do so; please let the coordinator, Jillian Sarkady, know if you are interested in sharing some kind of art work or performance for the event at [email protected] if you have not been contacted. Visual arts are welcome, though if an exhibit needs a lot of work to mount it would need to be done ahead of time.

The evening will begin at 5:00 with the food set up. Please be on time so that we can have everything assembled and people may sit down to socialize and eat by around 5:15. We anticipate performances to begin around 6:45 ish and to finish by 8:30 PM.

At this time our star line up includes:  Jerry Anne Dickel playing bagpipges, Sophie Spaner singing and playing ukelele, Tony Regets singing and playing guitar, Jillian Sarkady reading a few of her poems, Laurie Woodworth (a long-ago member) giving a short talk thangka painting in the shrine rm, a poetry reading of favorite poems by Debra Drexler and, perhaps, a few surprises.

WILL YOU PLEASE indicate if you are planning to attend vis a vis our FB page so we may plan accordingly?  As for the pot luck - we are requesting that folks bring just good folksy food to celebrate the richness of the fall season. Selections per last names:  A-H cheeses and/or crackers; I-O nut mixes and/or desserts; P-Z vegetables and/or dips.
